Two teens arrested after argument leads to stabbing on TTC bus in Etobicoke

Toronto police say two 15-year-old boys are in custody after an argument on a TTC bus led to three people with injuries.

Officers were called to Berry and Park Lawn Roads just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday for reports of a verbal argument that allegedly led to two males being stabbed.

It’s alleged that one of the youth boarded the bus and went directly to the back where another male youth was sitting. There was a verbal and physical confrontation between the two.

One youth allegedly pulled out a concealed knife during the confrontation. Both were stabbed before fleeing from the bus.

Both were eventually arrested and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

One of the youth has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possess weapon for committing an offence, assault with a weapon and fail to comply with release order.

The other youth was charged with assault with a weapon.

The female bus driver also suffered minor injuries as one of the youth fled but was not taken to hospital.
