Hailing from Cremona, Alta., Parsons spent parts of the past four seasons playing for the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers. In 2023-24, he scored six goals and added 11 assists for 17 points in 68 regular season games. He also added an assist in five playoff games.
Over the course of 219 career WHL regular season games, Parsons collected 17 goals and 35 assists for 52 points.
As Parsons gets ready to turn pro, there could be a strong possibility he sees time with the Cincinnati Cyclones this season. A physical, shutdown defenseman, Parsons makes it hard for opponents to gain space in front of his net and does not back down from laying the body.
