Raptors Take On Trail Blazers in Crucial Game in Standings: Where to Watch, Injuries, and More
The Toronto Raptors will continue their road trip in Portland where they’ll take on Dalano Banton and the Portland Trail Blazers at 10 p.m. ET Saturday.
Where to Watch
TSN and the FAN 590 will broadcast for Toronto. Root Sports and Rip City Radio 620 will call the game for Portland.
What to Watch For
- It’s a big game for the tanking fans with Toronto expected to win Saturday night against a bad Trail Blazers team playing on the second night of a back-to-back. The Raptors aren’t going to win many more games this season and their hopes of breaking into the bottom six may rest on their result Saturday.
- Banton has been on a bit of a tear lately, averaging 18 points per game over his last five games including a 30-point performance Friday night. The former Raptors is still an inefficient scorer, but he’ll be one of the players Toronto needs to look out for on a lackluster Portland squad.
- Ochai Agbaji and Jordan Nwora didn’t do much to show they deserve bigger roles on the Raptors moving forward, but with plenty of playing time still available, expect both guards to get another shot Saturday. Nwora’s defense needs to improve, while Agbaji has to show more on the offensive end.
Injury Reports
Toronto will be without Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, DJ Carton, and Mouhamadou Gueye.
Portland has yet to release its injury report, but expect Deandre Ayton, Malcolm Brogdon, Robert Williams, and Scoot Henderson to all be out.
Game Odds
The Raptors are -2.5 point favorites with an implied win probability of 58.3%. The total for the game is 227.5.
