Raptors Share Latest Injury Report For Thunder Game
It’ll be another long night for the Toronto Raptors on Friday.
Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett continue to remain away from the team for personal reasons and will miss Toronto’s next game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Raptors announced Thursday afternoon.
Both players remain without a timeline as they tend to family matters.
Toronto remains without Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, and DJ Carton who are all out for the foreseeable future. There is no timeline for Barnes or Poeltl to return, though neither player has officially been ruled out for the season.
Jontay Porter is not on the injury report after leaving Wednesday’s game early with an illness. He should be good to go as Toronto’s backup center behind Kelly Olynyk.
The Raptors have lost eight straight games and that’s unlikely to change against the Western Conference-leading Thunder when Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and company come to Scotiabank Arena on Friday night.
Expect Toronto to once again roll with an 11-man rotation that should feature essentially everyone on the roster except Garrett Temple. Bruce Brown Jr. should once again start in Quickley’s place flanked by Gradey Dick, Gary Trent Jr., Ochai Agbaji, and Olynyk.
Expect Jahmi’us Ramsey, Javon Freeman-Liberty, Jordan Nwora, and Jalen McDaniels to all see playing time off the bench for Toronto.
The Thunder have yet to release their injury report for Thursday night. They have been at full strength and should be looking to extend their lead over the Denver Nuggets for the conference lead in the West.
