Online Exclusives Portal Returns for San Diego Comic-Con 2024

Yes, the Online Exclusives Portal is returning on Monday, July 8.

This system is essentially a lottery for some of the hottest items at San Diego Comic-Con — which in years past has included Funko, Mattel, UCC Distributing, autograph signings for several studios, and more. Each attendee is allotted a certain number of “points” per day they have a badge for, which they can then “spend” however they see fit. Want to put all of your points to Funko? You certainly can. Or you could split it among other items.

For 2024, we know that Mattel will once again be utilizing the lottery system, and we would put money on Funko utilizing it again as well.

If you aren’t lucky enough to secure a winning lottery spot to access the booth you want, most booths tend to open up later in the day to anyone with any leftover inventory, typically after 3pm.

The portal will open on Monday, July 8 and close on Thursday, July 18.

Comic-Con International has posted the FAQ for this year’s portal system. For anyone who has participated before, it looks essentially the same as previous years, but is still a good refresher ahead of this year’s system opening.
