NC lottery player wins $4 million with Online Play ticket

Someone playing in the North Carolina Education Lottery won
big on Tuesday night. 

The lottery reported someone won a $4 million prize.

A player with an Online Play ticket with Megaplier won the prize.

Because the ticket was a Megaplier ticket, the prize
quadrupled to $4 million when the 4X multiplier came up. The $4 million prize ranked as the largest won
nationally in the drawing.

The Mega Millions jackpot has increased to $740 million
ahead of the Tuesday night drawing.
