N.Y. Lottery: TAKE 5 jackpot prize-winning ticket worth over $28K sold in NYC

A TAKE 5 jackpot prize-winning ticket worth over $28,000 was recently sold in New York City.

The New York Lottery announced one top-prize winning ticket — worth $28,448 — was sold for the Oct. 27 TAKE 5 evening drawing.

The ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, located at JFK Airport Building 125 in Jamaica, Queens.

The winning numbers are: 4, 15, 16, 19, and 34.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. To win the TAKE 5 jackpot, match the five numbers on your ticket to the winning five-number combination drawn. It costs $1 per game to play.

The drawing is broadcast on television twice daily at 2:30 and 10:30 p.m. TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening drawing.
