Mayday call forces Porter plane to land at Toronto Pearson airport

A Porter Airlines plane arriving from Ottawa safely landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport following a mayday call.

“The crew received an indication that led them to follow standard procedures by declaring a mayday. Passengers deplaned on the tarmac after landing safely and were bussed to the terminal,” a Porter Airlines spokesperson confirmed to CityNews.
