Man seriously injured in Bridle Path shooting: Toronto police

A man sustained serious injuries after a shooting in the city’s Bridle Path neighbourhood overnight, police say.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 2:09 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Park Lane Circle and Post Road.

A man was found at the scene suffering from serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital.

Police say a suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. No description has been released.

About an hour earlier, police were called to a shooting in the city’s Oakwood Village neighbourhood that left a man dead and a woman suffering from minor injuries.

It’s unclear at this time if the two shootings are related.
