Illinois lottery player wins $2M on Powerball ticket bought online

CHICAGO — A Illinois lottery player has won a whopping $2 million on a Powerball ticket bought online.

The ticket was purchased online for the Oct. 7 drawing and matched all five numbers to win $1 million. Then, the lucky player added the Power Play feature, which doubled their prize – scoring $2 million.

The winning numbers were: 18-30-31-52-63.

The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday night, with an estimated jackpot of $336 million.

Powerball drawings are conducted Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday evenings at 9:59 p.m. The jackpot for Thursday night’s drawing is now a whopping $336 million.
