The surging Maple Leafs host the Blackhawks on this week’s edition of Prime Monday Night Hockey.

Toronto has won eight of its last 10 contests, soaring to within one point of the first-place Panthers in the Atlantic Division. 

In Saturday’s 5-3 victory over the Lightning, center Auston Matthews returned to the lineup for the first time since Nov. 3. Matthews provided an immediate boost, notching two assists. 

Chicago sits in last place in the Central Division, though the Blackhawks are playing marginally better of late. They entered the weekend having split their past four games.

Nineteen-year-old center Connor Bedard leads the team with 17 points and 13 assists.
