GILL HONOURED AS U SPORTS ALL-CANADIAN – University of Toronto Athletics
As announced at the 2024 U SPORTS Field Hockey Championship banquet on Wednesday (Oct. 30) evening, University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey player Deepi Gill was named a U SPORTS All-Canadian.
The fifth-year Blues veteran capped off her varsity career with another sensational season, receiving both OUA all-star and U SPORTS All-Canadian honours for the first time. Gill finished the regular season with an undefeated record of 7-0-1 (W-L-T), conceding just one goal all season long. In addition, the outstanding backstop registered six clean sheets across the eight regular season matches.
