Canada: Telangana Student Dies While Drowning In Lake In Toronto On His Birthday

A student from India, who went to Canada to pursue his studies, drowned while swimming with his friends in a lake in Toronto. 

The deceased, identified as Praneeth, was a native of Telangana’s Meerpet, according to a report in NDTV. The report said that his family has been informed.

The student died while he was out with his friends to celebrate his birthday. The victim’s family has requested the government to bring his body back to India as early as possible.

A video showed Praneeth jumping into the lake. In another video, the man recorded a selfie with his friends on a motorboat in the lake.
