Toronto Police say officers responded to the store in a strip plaza near Weston and Bradstock Rds. – north of Sheppard Ave. W. – around 10:45 a.m.

“It is reported that a fire was deliberately set inside a retail store,” Const. Sinderela Chung in a statement released Saturday, explaining there were customers inside at the time and the store had to be evacuated for safety reasons.

She said the fire was extinguished and nobody was hurt.

“The investigation remains ongoing,” Chung said.
