Ailing Raptors in Tough vs. Kings: Where to Watch, Injury Reports, and More
The Toronto Raptors will return home Wednesday night and welcome the Sacramento Kings to town for a 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff.
Where to Watch
TSN and TSN 1050 will broadcast for Toronto. NBCSA and SacTown 1140 will broadcast for Sacramento.
What to Watch For
- With the Memphis Grizzlies again ahead of Toronto in the reverse standings, Wednesday is another opportunity to try to pull even and potentially ahead of the Grizzlies for the sixth-worst record in the NBA. That’s essentially all the Raptors seem to be playing for these days and it’ll be worth keeping an eye on Memphis’ game late Wednesday night.
- Gradey Dick has had a tough stretch lately playing starter’s minutes this late in the season. It’s an exhausting task for a rookie whose season was just wrapping up at this time last year. Dick’s ability to bounce back for a strong showing down the stretch will be important to keep an eye on heading into the summer.
- Gary Trent Jr.’s defense has looked better lately and it’ll be crucial he continues to show that skill before he heads into free agency this summer. Trent has always been an up-and-down defender and a stretch of strong defensive play would certainly make him more enticing to Toronto this summer.
Injury Reports
Toronto’s Immanuel Quickley popped up on the injury report as out for personal reasons. He’s joined by Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, Chris Boucher, RJ Barrett, and DJ Carton who have all been ruled out.
The Kings will be without Kevin Heurter and Trey Lyles. Sasha Vezenkov is questionable.
Game Odds
The Raptors are +10.5 point favorites with an implied win probability of 19%. The total for the same is 232.5.
