Several condos among $1,371 billion Toronto building permit approvals in October

Toronto recorded building permits valued at $1,371,005,158 in October, a slight decline from the $1,433,304 permits issued in September.

Here are the five largest October projects:

$140 million – 2788 Bathurst St.

Arcadis (formerly IBI Group) designed this 10-storey mixed use structure for Lanterra Developments at the southwest corner of Bathurst Street and Glencairn Avenue. The building includes  119 condos and hotel suites, as well as retail space.

$120 million – 1182 King St. W.

This 19-storey mixed-use condo is being built by Lifetime Developments and Poinedale Properties in Toronto’s Little Tibet at King Street West and Dufferin Street. Turner Fleischer Architects designed the structure.

$110 million – 1021-1035 Markham Rd.

Lash Group of Companies is building this 34-storey mixed used residential building as part of the ME Living condo development in Scarborough at the northeast corner of Markham Road and Briomorton Drive. The permit indicates the building will have 331 units.

$95 million – 150 Laird Dr.

One of two buildings on the site, this 8-storey retirement rental building is being developed by V!VA Retirement Communities. Architect Raw Design designed the structure.

$70 million – 743 Warden Ave.

This 9-storey mixed use condo has been designed by Kohn Partnership Architects and IBI Group for Stafford developments in Scarborough.
