The rumours are true, Oasis confirms reunion tour is coming to Toronto in 2025, here’s when tickets go on sale

The rumours are true — Oasis is coming back to Toronto in 2025

Oasis has officially confirmed that it will play a show in Toronto next August as part of its highly-anticipated reunion tour. The hugely popular English band will perform a single show in Downsview Park, at Rogers Stadium, on Aug. 24, 2025.

Ever since the initial U.K. and Ireland reunion tour dates were shared by the band, which is fronted by Liam and Noel Gallagher, rumours swirled about the bickering brothers and the plans to expand their reach to continents beyond Europe — now, the bad boys of Brit pop are coming.

An electronic billboard popped up at the corner of Yonge and Dundas Streets before Monday’s announcement. The hottest ticket in the world is coming to Toronto on Aug. 24, 2025.

You won’t have long to wait to buy tickets as the presale begins on Thursday, Oct. 3 with general sale starting on Friday, Oct. 4. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster. You can purchase presale tickets here.

Cage The Elephant has been slated as the opening act.

What is the most you would be prepared to pay per ticket, assuming you wanted to go to attend the Toronto concert?

It has been 15 years since Oasis performed together and the rumour mill has been churning for the past couple of months with chatter about the group that formed in 1991.

The concert announcement was made on Monday morning just after a billboard popped up  in downtown Toronto featuring the band and the message “Be careful what you wish for.”

The band was hugely popular in the 1990s, with hits like “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Wonderwall,” and “Champagne Supernova.”

Which super band would you want to see?

Offstage and sometimes in front of huge crowds, the band had a rocky existence with the Gallagher brothers front and centre. The acrimony triggered the band’s breakup in 2009.
