Services restored after national outage affecting Lotto ticket sales

Services have been restored after an outage prevented Australians from buying and checking Lotto tickets.

According to The Lott, about 40 per cent of the outlets around the country that sell and check tickets have been affected since 5am.

A spokesperson said the network was fully restored by 2.30pm and ”should be trading as normal”.

“The partial outage was caused by a network services issue,” the spokesperson said.

“We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate the patience and understanding of our customers and retailers.”

The partial outage was hours before tonight’s $20 million Powerball draw.

All services are free, confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
