Search for lucky lottery winner sitting on huge cash prize

A lucky lottery winner could be walking around not knowing they are £120,000 richer.

The National Lottery is asking players of their “Set For Life” game to check their pockets, bags, car, wallet, purses, or anywhere else they may have hidden away their winning ticket.

The winning ticket was bought in the Medway area but the lucky player has not yet claimed their prize.

Their numbers came up in the June 20 draw, when they matched five balls.

The lucky ticket holder yet to step forward is now validated to receive up to £120,000 over the next year by matching the numbers which on that day were 10, 18, 24, 27, and 38 – missing out on the Life Ball which was five.

They have until December 17 to claim the prize and players can check their tickets online, on the National Lottery app, or in participating retail outlets.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Players can win £10K a month for a whole year by matching the five main numbers as part of the game.

By playing any National Lottery game, players generate £30million each week for National Lottery-funded projects.

This money helps fund projects across the nation, with over 690,000 grants – supporting projects both big and small – having been made across the UK to date.

Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, the licensed operator of The National Lottery, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery said: “If you bought a Set For Life ticket in the Unitary Authority of Medway for the draw on 20 June, it’s time to look everywhere.

“In the pockets of clothes, you might have been wearing at the time, bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces – and check your tickets.

“Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through?

“We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize – imagine the possibilities for them for the next year.”
