2 men wanted in stabbing that sent 1 to hospital in midtown Toronto

Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a stabbing in midtown Toronto earlier this month.

Toronto Police Service (TPS) say they were called to the area of St. Clair Avenue West and Glenholme Avenue, just east of Dufferin Street, just before 1:15 a.m. on Jan. 2.

According to police, two men were fighting outside when two others intervened, but they add the altercation continued.

One of the men was stabbed, says TPS, and was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Police describe one suspect as being about 50 years old with a heavy build and short blond hair. They said he was last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as having a medium build, and was wearing a light-coloured sweater and dark pants.

Anyone with footage or information about the incident is asked to contact TPS or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
